Introduction to steel fire doors
Steel fire door refers to the door frame, door leaf frame and door leaf panel made of steel material. If the door leaf is filled with material, it is filled with non-toxic and harmless fire-proof and heat-insulating material, and it is composed of fire-proof hardware accessories. It is a door specifying fire resistance.
There are some differences in the installation method between steel fire doors and wooden fire doors. It is also slightly different from the fire rating. We must pay attention to the details when installing.
First of all, when the wooden fire door is installed, the size of the door frame should be less than 20mm of the opening, and the lower foot of the door frame should be buried 20mm below the ground. The door frame should be firmly fixed with the wall, with a vertical angle. There should be no less than 3 fixed points on both sides of the door frame, and the spacing should not be greater than 800mm.
Secondly, during the installation process of the steel fire door, considering the bending deformation of the door frame, it is necessary to support it with wooden slats in the width direction of the door frame and welding.
